Job summary

Vsconsultancy in Bukit Indah, Johor is seeking a Finance Executive to support financial operations, accounting records and reporting. The role is full-time and focuses on providing accurate financial information, robust controls, and compliance across the business.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 1–3 years of experience, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Malaysian tax knowledge is advantageous and ACCA/IMA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping or similar role.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax and compliance regulations is advantageous.
• ACCA or IMA qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, journals and ledgers per standards and policies.
• Processing invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconciling bank statements and accounting records to identify discrepancies.
• Assisting in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating variances.
• Maintaining organised financial documentation and records.
• Assisting with tax compliance and relevant tax documentation.
• Supporting internal and external audit activities as required.
• Contributing to development and improvement of financial processes and controls.

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Executive to join Vsconsultancy in Bukit Indah, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations and reporting functions of our organisation. As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health and compliance of the business. This role is integral to maintaining robust financial controls and providing stakeholders with reliable financial information.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, journals and ledgers in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Processing financial transactions including invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling bank statements and accounting records to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating variances
• Maintaining organised and up-to-date financial documentation and records
• Assisting with tax compliance and preparation of relevant tax documentation
• Supporting internal and external audit activities as required
