Job summary

Anchor Consulting Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced accounting leader to oversee the accounting team and ensure full set of accounts are properly maintained, including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations and month-end closing. You will drive accurate SOPL, SOFP and SOCF, and manage timely adjustments.

You will strengthen internal controls, liaise with auditors and tax agents, support IPO readiness, and collaborate with FP&A on reporting, budgeting and cash flow planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with audit background.
• Strong knowledge of SOPL, SOFP and SOCF and their impact on financial statements.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting, month-end close, cut-off, reconciliations and reporting.
• Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents, banks and financial institutions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCount and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting team and ensure full set of accounts is maintained.
• Drive monthly closing process, including accruals and prepayments.
• Review SOPL, SOFP and SOCF for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other external parties.
• Collaborate with FP&A on management reporting, budgeting and cash flow.
• Strengthen internal controls and finance SOPs to support governance.
