Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an advantage.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, MFRS, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience in IPO readiness, audit, due diligence, or listed-company environment is highly preferred.
• Hands-on, commercially minded, and capable of leading a growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts and consolidated financial statements in accordance with MFRS.
• Ensure consistent accounting policies and practices across the Group.
• Review key accounting matters and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support IPO readiness and internal controls with management, auditors, advisers, and other parties.
• Strengthen finance policies, SOPs, approval processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Identify control gaps and drive improvements to ensure the finance function is IPO-ready.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure audit issues are resolved.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports and analyse financial performance, margins, costs, cash flow, and variances.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs.
• Partner with management to evaluate business performance, expansion plans, and new initiatives.
• Oversee AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, collections, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
• Ensure timely tax, SST, statutory, and other financial compliance.
• Communicate financial results clearly to senior management and non-finance stakeholders.
