is seeking an Account Assistant in Bukit Rambai, Melaka to join the Finance team. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, process transactions, and help maintain accurate financial records in a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, experience in similar roles, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as Account Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken Malay & English (Mandarin is an advantage).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability and confidentiality of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, PO's and expenses.
• Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
• Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Preparing and filing financial documentation and supporting records.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Data entry and verification of accounting information into systems.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Responding to invoice and payment queries from internal/external parties.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assisting with general administrative duties related to the finance department.
