Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to lead the company's financial operations in Malaysia. You will ensure accurate reporting, strong controls and statutory compliance to support growth.
The role requires a CA(M)/ACCA/M.I.A, 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, and proven leadership. You will manage budgeting, cash flow, taxation, and liaise with auditors and regulators to uphold standards.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accounts & Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company's financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, statutory compliance and effective financial planning to support the company's business growth.
MUST HAVE
Professional qualification in Accounting, preferably Chartered Accountant (C.A.(M)) / ACCA / M.I.A
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of full set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management and taxation.
Good understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Experience in managing and leading an Accounts & Finance team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Experience in the construction industry.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall Accounts & Finance function, including daily accounting operations and financial administration.
Oversee preparation of full set of accounts, monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Prepare and monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger and bank reconciliations.
Monitor the company's financial position, cash flow and working capital.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures and financial policies.
Ensure compliance with LHDN, SSM, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and other relevant statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other professional advisers.
Review and monitor tax matters, statutory submissions and audit requirements.
