Job summary

KPJ Healthcare is seeking an Assistant in Finance Services to support the Accountant with accounts payable, petty cash, and cash management tasks. The role includes bank reconciliations, stock counts, asset tagging, and rigorous filing.

You will help ensure compliance with MSQH hospital accreditation standards and patient safety goals while maintaining safety at work. The candidate should have a Diploma in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience, with strong MS

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Record all invoices in a timely basis (Accounts Payable).
• Assist in petty cash transactions and bank/card/cheque reconciliations.
• Perform stock counts and asset tagging; assist in asset management.
• Clerical filing and safekeeping of documentation; maintain systematic records.
• Contribute to safety, health, and KPJ policies; comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.
• Assist in preparing monthly performance indicators for Finance Services.
