Job summary

China West Construction Group (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Finance Assistant in Kuala Lumpur. You will support day-to-day bookkeeping and finance operations, helping ensure accurate financial records and smooth processing of transactions.

The role requires Diploma or above in Finance/Accounting, familiarity with Malaysian standards, and proficiency in Excel/Office. Chinese and English communication is needed, with Malay also preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting or related discipline; LCCI or AAT preferred.
• Basic knowledge of finance tasks including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and SST is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process and record financial transactions including invoices, receipts, and expenses.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts regularly.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Input financial data into accounting software and systems.
• File and organize financial documents per company procedures.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance dept and month/year-end closing.
• Respond to queries from internal departments and external parties regarding financial matters.
