Job summary

Arca Corporation in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, monitor AP/AR, and collect receivables. The role ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax requirements, while supporting monthly closings and financial reporting.

You will compute taxes, prepare returns, and assist CFO on tax planning. Diploma in Finance/Accountancy required; audit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing full sets of accounts and financial statements.
• Ability to monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and collections.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Independent, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
• Immediate start preferred; based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with policies and tax requirements.
• Handle daily accounting duties and maintain accurate records.
• Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile weekly statements across company accounts.
• Assist CFO with tax compliance and planning as needed.
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned.

Prepare full sets of accounts, handling & monitoring on account payable and account receivable & collections.

Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company’s policies, accounting standard systems comply with Company’s policies, accounting standard procedures and related statutory and tax requirements.

Support and accurate timely completion of month-end closing procedures.

Able to compute company taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure prompt payment to statutory bodies.

Reconciling weekly Statements and across all company accounts.

Ad hoc and any other accounting duties assigned by Senior Management/Head of Department from time to time.

Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.

Supporting CFO on tax compliance matters and tax planning for the Group.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Candidate that have previous Audit experience will be added as advantages.
• Candidate able to work under pressure & meet set deadlines.
• Candidate have strong communication and presentation skills.
• Candidate must be independent, team player, proactive and positive work attitude.
• Candidate that can start IMMEDIATELY will be added as advantage.
