Job summary

Tonasco Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an capable accounting assistant to support the department with basic accounting functions and admin tasks. You will handle receivables, payables, fixed assets, and payments, and participate in month-end/year-end closings.

The role requires at least a diploma in accounting/finance or LCCI, 1 year of accounting experience, and good Excel/ERP skills. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or LCCI accounting qualification.
• At least 1 year of accounting working experience.
• Experienced with ERP and good excel spreadsheet skills will be an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Required language(s): English.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic accounting functions for full set of accounts (AR, AP, fixed assets, payments).
• Assist month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with monthly and yearly tax submissions, year-end audits, e-invoicing, LMW applications, and reporting.
• Correspond with suppliers and customers to ensure timely payments, collections, credit notes.
• Take charge of Office Administrative tasks from time to time.

Responsible for all basic accounting functions for a full set of accounts such as accounts receivables, account payables, fixed assets, payments.

Be part of the team for month-end and year-end closing activities.

Assist in monthly and yearly tax submission, year-end audit, e-invoicing, LMW applications and reporting

Correspond with suppliers and customers to ensure timely execution of payments, collections, credit notes etc.

Be part of the team to take charge of Office Administrative tasks from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or LCCI accounting qualification.

At least 1 year of accounting working experience.

Experienced with ERP and good excel spreadsheet skills will be an advantage.
