Job summary

Tonasco Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance & Corporate Affairs leader to oversee finance, admin and regulatory compliance. The role drives efficiency, ensures ISO standards, and supports growth with robust financial planning and reporting.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in finance with full accounts, 3+ years in management, and strong ERP/Excel/Power BI skills. MBA is a plus, and manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in general finance and full set of accounts with at least 3 years in a managerial role in manufacturing.
• Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, DOSH, OSH is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ERP finance modules and proficient in Excel, Power BI or cloud budgeting/reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial controls, budgeting, cash flow, and cost management.
• Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making and investment planning.
• Improve operational efficiency and strengthen risk management during expansion.

• Oversee regulatory and business documents (SSM, MBSA, licenses, SST, ISO, DOSH).
• Oversee multimedia team for internal and external communications.
• Manage day-to-day office administration and supervise staff and vendors.

Job description

Oversees Tonasco’s Finance, Admin and Corporate Affairs teams. This role is responsible for finance and admin management, corporate affairs and compliance enforcement. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, business application stability, and continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and monitor actionable financial plans together with HODs, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Oversee financial controls, budgeting, cash flow, and cost management.

Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making and investment planning.

Actively contribute to improving business operational efficiency and strengthening risk management measures during expansion and growth.

B. Corporate Affairs and Compliance

Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Maintain professional communication with relevant government authorities, including customs and tax authorities.

Oversee business regulatory affairs eg Business registrations (e.g., SSM, MBSA), Import/export licenses (e.g., LMW), Tax-related or tax exemption certificates (e.g., SST), ISO Certificates, DOSH and other regulatory or business documents.

Oversee multimedia team in creation of communication contents for internal and external use.

C. Office Administration

Oversee day-to-day office admin to ensure an organized, safe, and efficient working environment.

Supervise staff as well as vendor (e.g. cleaners, securities) and coordinate administrative functions such as office maintenance, housekeeping, and supplies.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting/Finance professional qualification with good proficiency in written and spoken English. MBA is a plus.

Minimum 10 years of working experience in a general finance and full set accounts and at least 3 years in a managerial role with relevant experience in manufacturing industry.

Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, DOSH, OSH is added advantage.

Strong knowledge of finance modules of ERP systems, and proficient in financial analysis with Excel, Power BI, or any cloud-based budgeting/reporting platforms.
