Mitsui-Soko (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to lead all finance and accounting activities across GL, AP, AR, cash flow and month-end closing.

Lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, fixed assets and month-end closing. Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, forecasts, annual budgets, variance analyses and other reports required by branch management and headquarters. Monitor working capital, collections, operating expenses, profitability and cost control; highlight risks and recommend corrective actions. Maintain strong financial controls, approval processes and reconciliations to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information. Coordinate statutory audit, tax, SST, banking, insurance and other finance-related regulatory or corporate requirements with the relevant advisers and authorities. Review and improve finance SOP's, workflows and reporting tools to increase accuracy, efficiency and risk control. Provide clear financial analysis and commercial insights to support operational planning, pricing, investment and management decisions.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
At least 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory managerial capacity
Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, SST, audit, internal controls and cash-flow management in Malaysia
Practical experience overseeing office administration and third-party service providers
Working knowledge of business IT infrastructure, cyber security controls, user-access management, backup practices and IT vendor coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP system
High integrity, discretion and accountability when handling financial, employee and company information
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-support skills, with close attention to accuracy and deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Organised, hands-on and service-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional improvements
