Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting assistant to join the finance team in Malaysia. You will collaborate with the Finance Manager and Accounts Executive to perform a variety of accounting tasks, issue and dispatch invoices and related documents, and support SST submissions with the Customs Department.

You will also handle data entry for transactions, maintain ledgers, prepare reports, and contribute to daily management information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Finance Manager, Accounts Executive, and team to perform various accounting tasks.
• Issue and dispatch financial documents such as e-invoices, invoices, draft invoices, credit notes and debit notes; check SST submissions with the Customs Department.
• Enter data for transactions including purchase bills, journal vouchers, official receipts, payment vouchers and petty cash vouchers.
• Maintain company ledgers and daily accounting transactions.
• Assist in preparing accounting records, summaries and reports; create daily management reports.
