Job summary

LM EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Cum Finance Executive to join the finance team on a full-time basis in Melaka.

The role supports accurate financial management, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards while contributing to business decision-making. The successful candidate will handle general ledger entries, AP/AR, monthly/quarterly/annual statements, and assist with audits. Prior experience in equipment/manufacturing is preferred, with strong Mandarin, English and Bahasa

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Knowledge of Malaysian accounting regulations and tax requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with audit preparations and respond to auditor queries.
Maintain accounting documentation and filing.
Assist in monthly closing and year-end accounting activities.
