Job summary

TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional to manage month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and costing.

You will prepare inventory, costing, and management reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. You will coordinate stock takes, assist with external audits, and handle the full AP cycle from invoice to payment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 2–3 years of AP or accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Mandarin speaking preferred (read, write, speak).
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and costing.
• Prepare inventory, costing, and management reports on a timely basis.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with standards, statutory requirements and policies.
• Coordinate monthly and annual stock take activities with reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Support external audit requests; liaises with tax agent and other external parties as needed.
• Process accounts payable transactions with invoice verification and proper GL coding; ensure daily operations on time.
• Oversee full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment and monitor creditor aging.
• Prepare payment proposals according to the payment cycle.
• Retain all documents and records under control for retrievability.
