Job summary

Techman Electronics is seeking an Account Payable professional in Malaysia to handle month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and costing. You will prepare inventory, costing, and management reports and oversee the full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2–3 years in AP or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong MS Office skills and Mandarin ability are a plus.

• 2–3 years working experience in accounts payable or similar accounting function.

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and costing.

Prepare inventory, costing, and management reports on a timely basis.

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies.

Coordinate monthly and annual stock take activities including inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.

Support external audit requests. Liaises with tax agent and other external parties as needed.

Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and proper GL code assignment. Ensure daily operational activities are completed on time.

Oversee the full AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment.

Monitor creditor aging reports. Ensure timely processing and payment of all requests and prepare payment proposals according to the payment cycle.

Support external audit requests. Liaises with tax agent and other external parties as needed.

Retain all documents and records under your control to ensure they remain readily retrievable.

• Minimum bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent field

• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in account payable or any other accounting function.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• Prefer Mandarin speaking candidates (SPEAK, READ and WRITE in MANDARIN) to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleague & clients)

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while meet deadlines.
