We are seeking a Finance & Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
You will support the team in preparing accurate financial reports, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements. This role plays an important part in maintaining sound financial control and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations within the Group.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance & Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
You will support the team in preparing accurate financial reports, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements. This role plays an important part in maintaining sound financial control and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations within the Group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) & Billing (Core BAU)
- Handle full cycle of Accounts Payable, including invoice verification, processing payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including issuance of invoices, monitoring collections, and follow‑up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare and process progress billing, debit/credit notes, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain proper records of all transactions and ensure timely updates in the accounting system.
2. Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting schedules.
- Support statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and liaising with auditors.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Assist in monitoring daily cash flow and fund positions.
- Support payment processing, fund transfers, and banking transactions.
- Liaise with banks on basic matters including documentation and follow‑ups.
4. Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Support variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance.
- Assist in basic financial analysis for projects and internal reporting.
5. Taxation & Compliance
- Support coordination with tax agents on tax matters.
- Ensure timely and proper documentation for statutory compliance.
6. Ad-Hoc Support
- Undertake assignments as required by Management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support finance‑related matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor'S Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience will have an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
