Job summary

Baba Eco Group Bhd is seeking an Account Executive to join the Finance team in Malaysia. The role supports day-to-day accounting and financial operations and is open to fresh graduates with a strong accounting background.

You will handle AP/AR, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and assist with monthly management accounts and year-end statements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Fresh graduates with a strong accounting background are encouraged to apply.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure timely data entry into the accounting system.
• Responsible for preparing and processing monthly payroll for Operators, ensuring accurate calculation of basic salary, overtime, allowances, deductions and other payroll-related payments within the stipulated timeline.
• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and other relevant accounting documents.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with SST, tax matters, audit requirements, and other regulatory submissions.
• Support the Finance Manager in daily finance operations and ad hoc finance and administrative duties.
