Job summary

Prudential, a leading financial services group, seeks a Manager of Financial Accounting to oversee end-to-end accounting processes, control environments, and data governance. You will lead close activities, drive improvements, and support audits while coordinating with stakeholders across finance and IT teams.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, 6+ years in accounting, and strong analytical skills. A supervisory background and experience with Oracle/Alteryx are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA/CPA/ACA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 years in finance/accounting with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in financial services (insurance/banking) is advantageous.
• Strong IFRS knowledge incl. IFRS 17 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ETL accounting processes to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities for timely reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors and SOX reviews; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Lead and coach team members to resolve recurring accounting issues.
• Support finance projects including new product launches and accounting validation.
