Job summary

Alcon seeks a Manager II, Accounting & Reporting to lead R2R across multiple entities, owning month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, ensuring IFRS/Local GAAP compliance, and strengthening internal controls. You will drive process improvements and coach a high-performing team while partnering with FP&A, Tax, and auditors.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in accounting/financial reporting, SAP and Power BI skills, and ACCA/CPA or equivalent qualifications, in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA) preferred.
• 8–10 years in accounting/financial reporting; multinational exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure IFRS/Local GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for Malaysia & Philippines; coordinate audits.
• Oversee general ledger and reconciliation activities; review journal entries.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and digitization of R2R processes.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors to support reporting.
