Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Senior/Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

You will lead finance and accounting functions from reporting and budgeting to internal controls, month-end close, and management analysis, while mentoring the finance team.

Experience with IPO readiness and regulatory reporting is a plus; ACCA/CPA/CIMA or accounting degree preferred.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior/Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth. If you are one of the talented Account & Finance human capital, we welcome you to join our Account & Finance Management team (Assistant Manager to Senior Manager). Salary will be commensurate with working experiences.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, financial planning, budgetary controls.

Develop, improve and monitor internal control policies, procedures and guidelines.

Timely month-end closing and preparation of management reports and comprehensive analysis of financial results.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning processes and performance tracking.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the company.

Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements and company policies.

Identify risks and implement measures to safeguard company assets.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to Senior Management to support decision making.

Lead the transition from SME accounting to corporate governance level.

Liaise with internal and external parties which include tax agents, external auditors, lawyers, bankers, and relevant government authorities for approval and compliance.

Supervise and mentor the finance/accounting team to ensure operation excellence.

Assist in financial planning and documentation related to the company’s potential IPO or listing preparation.

Experience in IPO preparation, financial due diligence, or working with investment bankers and external advisors will be an added advantage.

Undertake ad hoc duties or special projects assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.

Technically strong in accounting standards, internal control, taxation and financial reporting.

Prior involvement or exposure in IPO readiness projects, listing documentation, or regulatory financial reporting is a plus.

Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Good business acumen and commercial awareness.

Hands-on, analytical, and detail oriented.

A team player with a high level of integrity, meticulous and proven analytical problem-solving skills.

Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
