Job summary

IPK College is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the finance team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. The role focuses on managing financial records, AP/AR, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across the accounting function.

You will handle month-end processes, invoicing, general ledger tasks, and financial reporting while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years' bookkeeping experience and a Diploma/degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience in a small practice or business.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, AP/AR, reconciliations and standard financial reporting.
• Familiarity with e-Invoicing processes is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.
• Basic understanding of Malaysian tax regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including month/year-end processes.
• Process invoices, expense claims, payment requests and AP transactions.
• Handle e-Invoicing, validation and record maintenance.
• Ensure accurate sales, collections, and customer debt follow-up.
• Prepare full sets of accounts including trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and vendors.
