Job summary

Ricoh (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Technical Specialist to provide customer technical support, troubleshoot, install, commission and perform preventive maintenance on Ricoh machines.

You will respond to inquiries, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and maintain professional customer relationships while ensuring service quality and compliance with company procedures. The role involves recording service activities, escalating incidents when needed, and adhering to safety and manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or IT Computer Sc.
• Minimum one year working experience.
• Technical knowledge in Microsoft Office application.
• Self-motivated and hardworking.
• Able to handle customers’ complaints.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls and technical enquiries.
• Conduct systematic troubleshooting and diagnosis of machine faults and technical problems.
• Perform installation, configuration and commissioning of machines.
• Ensure customer machines are properly cleaned and maintained during service visits.
• Explain applicable repair, service, parts or other charges to customers before commencing chargeable work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine checks according to the prescribed maintenance schedule.
• Accurately record service activities, troubleshooting performed, parts used, machine condition and resolution details.
• Escalate serious incidents, irregularities, safety concerns or unusual machine conditions to Management or immediate Superior.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous service during all customer interactions.
• Comply with all company policies, service procedures, safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
