Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, partners with a well-established organisation in the Industrial sector to hire a Service & Sales Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) based in Selangor, Malaysia.

The role delivers technical service, installation, and maintenance support for mechanical and electrical equipment at customer farm sites, while identifying opportunities for spare parts and service sales to drive account growth and long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience in field service, technical sales, or equipment installation, preferably in agriculture or livestock equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service, installation, and maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment at customer farms.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in mechanical and electrical systems; perform testing and commissioning of BD equipment.
• Identify opportunities to upsell spare parts, upgrades, or service contracts during visits.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to meet installation timelines and quality standards.
• Train farm operators on equipment use, safety, and maintenance; submit reports and feedback after visits.
