Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a field service engineer in Malacca to install, troubleshoot, calibrate equipment and perform regular maintenance at customer sites. You will travel between sites and work with hands-on tools in various environments.

Diploma or degree in engineering, 1–4 years experience, Mandarin proficiency, and willingness to travel are required. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are expected, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in Engineering (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
Mandarin proficiency is mandatory to liaise with supplier from China
On-site training and hands-on experience are highly valuable.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work outdoors or at customer/site locations, when required.
Good communication and writing skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
Willing to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

To carry out trouble shooting, calibration and installation of equipment's as assigned.
To handle equipment evaluation and applications in house and on customer site.
To handle technical presentation on equipment and help sales department on any technical requirements.
To provide training to customer and new staff.
To keep track of all changes on equipment and updates records.
To cross training in various equipment's.
To maintain a consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with customers.
To setup and participate in regular meetings with customer.
To make routine visits to customers.
