Job summary

Automation & Control Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support for power management controls, electronic governor systems and control panels across workshop and customer sites. You will liaise with customers, prepare quotations for hardware sales, field service and tender proposals, and ensure adherence to all procedures.

Travel to outstation sites at short notice will be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic/ Electrical).
• Willing to travel outstation at short notice.
• Fast learner and customer oriented.
• Fit to work, able to climb steep stairs and working at height.
• Working experience preferred in controls for engines & turbines; fresh graduates may apply.
• Possess valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to workshop and customer in relation to power management controls, electronic governor system, control panel etc.
• Liaise and coordinate with customer on various aspect and stages of work
• Assist in sales calls and presentation planning & scheduling
• Ensure that all correct procedures are observed in the course of duty
• Involve in preparation of quotation for hardware sales, field service and tender proposal
• Consultation service to customers on product configuration and application
• Collect data and market intelligence for business analysis and decision making
• Take charge of technical proposal/involvement in projects
• Undertake field service jobs which involve troubleshooting or installing customer equipment when required
