Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain electrical systems at client locations in Malaysia (Johor Bahru, Kulai). The role covers preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and onsite repairs, with 24x7 on-call support for urgent issues.

You will also participate in SAT/UAT/FAT processes and uphold safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic engineering and 1–3 years of related experience, with strong English

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or a related Engineering discipline.
1–3 years of relevant experience working with electrical equipment such as UPS, switchgear, transformers, or related power systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

Install and commission electrical systems at client locations.
Participate in site meetings and inspections, and engage in SAT, UAT and FAT processes.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system failures or malfunctions.
Perform onsite equipment repairs during a breakdown or warranty claim.
Be available for on-call support to address urgent issues outside regular working hours.
Maintain personal and company work tooling, ensuring 100% availability.
Contribute to Quality Management System: implement process approach, support QMS, communicate its importance, and foster continuous improvement.
