Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment servicing preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical equipment maintenance or validation preferred
• Familiar with GMP standards and cleanroom environmental requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to customer sites (local and overseas)
• Self-driven, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Mandarin for HQ/Chinese client communication; English and Bahasa Malaysia are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, setup, commissioning, and acceptance testing (SAT/FAT) of pharmaceutical/semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites
• Execute equipment hook-up, alignment, calibration, and system verification according to specifications
• Work closely with customer Equipment, Process, and Facilities teams to ensure smooth tool readiness and production start-up
• Troubleshoot equipment issues (mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and control-related) and perform periodic maintenance
• Provide technical support during tool start-up, upgrades, and retrofits
• Deliver operation and maintenance training to customer operational teams
• Document installation activities, service reports, and issue resolutions accurately
• Communicate professionally with equipment principals (manufacturers/suppliers) to ensure timely technical support and resolution
• Support GMP validation, cleanroom equipment compliance, and pharmaceutical regulatory technical requirements
• Support specialized equipment such as Oven/Bonder/UV curing machines in semiconductor manufacturing
