Schaeffler Malaysia is seeking a results-driven sales engineer to identify and convert new customers, delivering bearing and IAS service solutions on site. You will plan targeted sales activities, articulate technical value, and build lasting customer relationships across industry sectors.

The role emphasizes technical sales excellence, after-sales support, and collaboration with international experts to drive growth in bearings and Industry 4.0 offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering with strong technical aptitude.
• Experience in direct sales and new customer acquisition is required.
• Experience in an MNC environment is preferred.
• IoT/Industry 4.0 mindset as a business enabler.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market-sector-customers and deliver product, service, and engineering information.
• Establish new accounts and plan and organize sales calls.
• Prepare RFQ, target price and market information for customers.
• Drive new customer acquisition and grow IAS services on site.
• Provide technical advice and support for bearing products and solutions.
• Deliver after-sales service to boost customer retention and wallet share.
• Develop customers’ competency via technical information, seminars and trainings.
• Forecast/budget planning and report in Salesforce to manage pipeline.
