Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Penang is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, relocate, startup and service Lam etch/clean/deposition equipment at customer sites across international regions.

The role requires a self-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, willing to travel up to 90% and work hybrid on-site and remotely as needed. Training is provided, and safety protocols are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Graduate eligible role with a strong desire to learn and grow with the company.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage customers on technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites.
• Conduct startup, cut over and checkout activities on newly installed systems.
• Provide warranty or paid service and perform on-site preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate all service actions with customers to minimize downtime or interruptions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logs, service records and diagnostic updates.
