HSP Power Systems in Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer to lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of generator set supply, installation, testing, and commissioning on-site.

You will manage schedules, coordinate with clients and vendors, ensure safety and quality, read drawings, and support FAT/SAT; 3+ years of PM experience preferred; role based on-site in Johor with occasional travel.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Machatronic Engineering or related Engineering fields.
• Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience, preferably in generator sets, power systems, or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of project management practices and site coordination.
• Experience in data center projects is an added advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic installation calculations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to be fully based on-site in Johor and travel to project locations as needed.

Aufgaben

• Manage full project lifecycle from planning, procurement, delivery, installation, site supervision, testing, and commissioning of generator sets and related equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with specifications.
• Conduct site assessments, verify installation quality, and ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and handover documents.
• Monitor project risks, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays and costs.
• Ensure FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities are properly executed.
• Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project review sessions.
• Ensure all activities align with company standards and power generator set industry requirements.
