Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site installation, calibration, and integration of semiconductor assembly and packaging machinery. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues, and execute maintenance routines to maximize machine productivity.

Responsibilities include documenting service activities in CRM/ERP, coordinating with engineering, and training operators. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor assembly or electronics manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams.

About you

Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on field service or equipment engineering experience within the semiconductor assembly or electronics manufacturing industry.

Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams.

Hands‑on experience with motion control systems, PLCs, sensors, and robotics.

Excellent problem‑solving skills under high‑pressure, cleanroom environments.

Direct experience with Lid Attach / Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) placement and bonding systems.

Familiarity with Fluxer systems utilizing piezo pump technology for precision dispensing.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of managing customer expectations professionally.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice to support customer sites.
