Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated engineer to develop, optimize and maintain manufacturing processes for higher productivity, yield, and product quality. You will analyze process data, identify root causes of variation, and implement corrective actions to improve performance and reliability.

Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing process to improve productivity, yield, and product quality.
Analyze process data, identify root causes of process variation, and implement corrective actions.
Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and engineering changes.
Establish & maintain process specifications, work instructions, and process control plans.
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cycle time, defects, and manufacturing costs.
Ensure reliable operation & availability of production equipment, machinery, and supporting systems.
Develop & improve preventive & predictive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot equipment failures & perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
Coordinate equipment installation, qualification, modification, and improvement activities.
Monitor equipment performance, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime trends.
Work with technicians & equipment suppliers to resolve complex equipment issues.
Monitor manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Lead investigations of process/product non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues.
Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA.
Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
Develop & implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with company safety, EHS, quality, and semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
Prepare technical reports, engineering documentations, and performance presentations for management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Semiconductor or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
Mandarin speaker is an added value due to liaising with oversea customer on products/specifications.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality system.
Experience in process troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, root cause analysis, and quality improvement.
Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, 8D, CAPA, and statistical/data analysis is an advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Able to work independently as well as effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support production when necessary.
