Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop opportunities for orders across assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute sales activities for products/solutions to achieve growth.
• Provide updates on sales funnel, forecasts and account status.
• Collaborate with Market Product Management on competition and market needs.
• Support development and implementation of marketing plans and activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of account issues and escalations as needed.
• Maintain CRM to manage funnel and collaboration.
• Build trust through sound technical/product knowledge.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Showcase in-depth coverage and understanding of assigned accounts directly and/or with channels to identify customer needs and develop opportunities for orders.
• Develop and execute effective sales activities (products/ solutions, opportunities follow up) for the industry to achieve sales growth objectives assigned.
• Provide updates on sales funnel, forecasts and account status/ activity as required.
• Collaborate with Market Product Management teams regarding competition, product, and/or market needs to increase win probability and market share.
• Support in the development and implementation of marketing plans and activities as needed.
• Ensure all assigned accounts issues are resolved in a timely and escalated as needed.
• Comply with company policy on sales processes and use of sales tools.
• Proactive usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain account details for funnel management and effective collaboration.
• Maintain sound technical/application knowledge of all products relevant to industry assigned to develop trust and confidence of customer base.
• Collaborate with Corporate Industry Management team to align strategy and initiatives for assigned industry and accounts.

Requirements

Minimum a diploma in Electrical/ Control/ Instrument Engineering or any related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience within a sales environment in Industrial Automation.
• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry will be an added advantage.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written for ease of communication between teams.
• Customer-centric and results oriented.
• Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
