Job summary

PROFITLINK INTELLIGENT EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a skilled automation technician to support commissioning, debugging, and maintenance of complex equipment in a manufacturing plant.

You will perform move-in, installation, commissioning per SOP, maintain data files, report faults, and participate in process improvement. Travel to China headquarters may be required.

Qualifications

• College or preferably university degree in mechanical automation, mechatronics, or electrical automation.
• Working knowledge in PLC, HMI, and electrical wiring.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in fully or semi-automated manufacturing plant.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in production environment.
• Willing to travel and accept short-term professional training at China headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment move-in, installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance under the guidance of SOP
• Conduct commissioning in strict accordance with commissioning manual requirements and maintain complete relevant data files
• Establish complete equipment debugging and maintenance file records on the PM system
• Handle faults found in the debugging process and report unsolvable problems to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Provide timely feedback on product quality problems found during commissioning and conduct problem investigation to prevent recurrence
• Understand product manufacturing process, identify process deviation problems, and take corrective measures or escalate to supervisors
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor equipment problems
• Provide training for other employees and operators and update training manuals when necessary
