Job summary

Sidel in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to test and evaluate equipment at customer plants and ensure adherence to safety and contractual requirements. The role involves on-site work, handling non-conformities, and preparing detailed reports.

Successful applicants will coach junior colleagues, report to the ISM, and strive for high customer satisfaction while following SOPs and Sidel coordination plans. Local candidates with Malaysia nationality are required.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant according to specs.
• Properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports for carried-out activities.
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform activities in line with SOPs, Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules.
• Report after sales opportunities detected on customer site.
• Coach junior colleagues on on-site behaviour, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
• Report to the ISM for team site activities.
• Malaysia nationality is a must.

• Properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities
• Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction
• Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules
• Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site
• Coach junior colleagues on the on-site behaviour, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables
• Report to the ISM for team site activities
• Malaysia nationality is a must
• Package includes base salary, daily on-site allowance and overtime pay.
