Job summary

VF Fastening Systems Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Sales Representative based in Butterworth, Penang. You will establish new accounts, identify target segments, build long-term client relationships and provide pre- and after-sales support.

The role requires travel to outstation, meeting sales targets, presenting products, and generating quality leads. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply and Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred for liaising with China clients.

Qualifications

• Positive learning attitude.
• At least 1 year working experience in related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work independently and effectively with peers.
• Must be diligent and driven.
• Possess integrity and trust.
• Must be willing to travel on short notice.
• Valid Class 3 driving license.
• Preferably Mandarin-speaking to liaise with China clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish new accounts by identifying new/strategic customer segments, industry sectors based on assigned targets
• Develop long term customer relations and logging feedback (weekly/monthly)
• Willing travel for outstation.
• Ensure that sales targets are met
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support service
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Generate high-quality sales lead. Calculate, negotiate and close sales quotations with prompt follow up
• Continuously improve product knowledge
• Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
