Job summary

MYS ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Petaling Jaya seeks a Sales Engineer to join the team in Kelana Jaya on a full-time basis. The role blends technical know-how with sales and customer engagement to identify opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

You will work with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, propose engineering solutions, and support business growth while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Sales; fresh graduates with strong interest are welcome.
• Good understanding of engineering products and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Provide technical expertise and consult with clients, translating their requirements into suitable engineering solutions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
• Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for client submissions.
• Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company services and generate leads.
• Support the after-sales process, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
