Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a sales-oriented engineer who can attend, service, and promote company products to consultants and distributors. The role requires reading construction drawings, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel.

Candidates should hold a Diploma/Degree in engineering or related fields, with English fluency and Malay proficiency. Mandarin is an added advantage for Mandarin-speaking client interactions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering, construction or related fields.
• Prior experience in sales or specification is a plus.
• Able to read and comprehend construction/architectural drawings (schematic drawing, 2D drawing).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and presentation skills.
• Able to communicate fluently in English, Malay is mandatory. Also, able to communicate in Mandarin is added advantage as require to handle with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Suitable candidate may also be possibly tasked to cover other regions.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• To attend, service, and promote company products to consultants and distributors.
• Maintain good relationship by identifying client's needs and develop appropriate strategy to meet their needs.
• Responsible in the preparation of proposals, provide solutions, technical specifications and tender documents.
• Conduct product briefing and organize presentation / workshop to clients.
• Liaise with clients on all technical aspects.
• Identify and gather new business opportunities / potential leads and expand dealer network.
• Gather market intelligence for the Manager by making close monitoring of market movements.
