Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated sales/technical support professional in Malaysia to service consultants and distributors, promote company products, and build long-term relationships.

The role requires reading and interpreting construction drawings, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel within regions. Fluent English and Malay are essential; Mandarin is an advantage for Mandarin-speaking clients. 5-day work week with benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering, construction or related fields.
• Prior experience in sales or specification is a plus.
• Able to read and comprehend construction/architectural drawings (schematic drawing, 2D drawing).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and presentation skills.
• Able to communicate fluently in English, Malay is mandatory. Also, able to communicate in Mandarin is added advantage as require to handle with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Suitable candidate may also be possibly tasked to cover other regions.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• To attend, service, and promote company products to consultants and distributors.
• Maintain good relationship by identifying client's needs and develop appropriate strategy to meet their needs.
• Responsible in the preparation of proposals, provide solutions, technical specifications and tender documents.
• Conduct product briefing and organize presentation / workshop to clients.
• Liaise with clients on all technical aspects.
• Identify and gather new business opportunities / potential leads and expand dealer network.
• Gather market intelligence for the Manager by making close monitoring of market movements.
