Job summary

Sangfor Technologies Malaysia is seeking a skilled IT Technical Engineer to provide on-site support and face-to-face assistance to customers. You will assist with POC, demonstrations, technical exchanges, and training for partners and end users.

Your role includes troubleshooting network issues, collaborating with customers, and ensuring smooth deployment of security products. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering, at least 2 years in the IT industry, with strong TCP/IP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years IT industry experience as a technical engineer.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, protocols, routing, OSI model.
• Familiarity with firewall/UTM and network security technologies.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet equipment is preferred.
• CCNA or CCNP certifications are helpful.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to customers.
• Assist with POC, demonstrations and technical exchanges.
• Track and fix technical issues and provide partner/customer training.
• Communicate effectively by phone, email and other remote channels.
• Explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
