Fortinet Malaysia is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Telco and Enterprise customers from Kuala Lumpur. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering security solution designs, demonstrations and technical guidance across unified SASE, CNAPP and cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles and able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong knowledge of Unified SASE (SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, DLP) and CNAPP.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for telco and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.

You would act as the Systems Engineer for Telco and Enterprise Industry.

As a Systems Engineer, you will

• Play an integral role in providing pre-sales support and technical consultancy to customers.


• Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients.


• Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.).


• Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs and POC demo.


• Provide professional services and training for channels and distributors.


• Travel to upcountry areas and work directly with customers on-site.

• Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose, provide Unified SASE and CNAPP solution framework and implementation solution to clients.


• Actively engage with customers in explaining complex technical info to non-technical users.


• Strong analytical and critical thinking to diagnose complex problems.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).


• Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals and POC demonstration in NetOps.


• Effectively carry out domain specialist in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.).


• High focus on client satisfaction.


• Team-oriented and cooperative in achieving shared goals.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
