Job summary

Airbus Customer Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Repair Specialist to join the Flight Hours Services (FHS) team. You will manage supplier performance, drive on-time, cost-effective repairs, and coordinate with internal Airbus functions to support critical operations.

You will build strong supplier relationships, lead recovery efforts for AOG situations, and ensure compliance with technical standards and certifications while maintaining data integrity in our systems.

Qualifications

• This role requires a relevant Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years in aviation industry (Purchasing, Component Repair, Supplier Management or Customer Service).

Responsibilities

• Challenge and validate suppliers' commercial quotations per procurement guidelines.
• Create justification dossier to recharge customers for Customer Induced Damages.
• Contribute to achieving the global FHS repair cost target.
• Ensure suppliers repair and deliver parts on time according to contracts.
• Identify root causes of delays and prioritize AOG and critical requests.
• Organize regular conference calls with suppliers to address issues, repair status, and data reconciliation.
• Ensure suppliers meet technical standards and certifications (SBs, upgrades, EASA, FAA, CAAS).
• Manage quarantines on parts returned from the shop.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within Repair Operations and coordinate with methods/tools team for data quality.
• Carry out any other task as directed by the supervisor.
