Job summary

DXN Holdings Bhd, located in Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a Nursery Operations Specialist to support nursery operations, irrigation and field activities at the DXN Integrated Ganoderma Farm in Jitra. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness in daily farm tasks.

You will assist with machine maintenance and record-keeping while collaborating with a team to ensure safe, productive farm operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• KM Level 4 / Diploma in Agriculture field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Agriculture field.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Experience in nursery management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support nursery operations in crop production, irrigation, machinery and P&D management.
• Provide briefing and guidance for machine operations with safety in mind.
• Establish and keep maintenance records for machines.
• Ensure all machines are safe before and after operation and stop work if needed.

Job description

1. Nursery operation -To support nursery operations in term of crop production, irrigation, machinery, Pest and Disease (P&D) management and field activities to ensure safe, productive and cost-effective farm operations. 2. Herbs Nursery and Landscape Maintenance

3. Training and Operational Support

• Provide briefing and guidance to the general worker for machine operations by taking into account recommended safety practice
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and perform other related task instructed by the superior

4. Record Documentation -Establish and keep maintenance records for machines (by internal and external party)

• The records need to be documented accordingly

5. Safety, Health and Environment

• Responsible to ensure all machines and equipment were in safe condition before and after operation
• Alert superior with any machine malfunction and implement stop work order immediately to avoid any safety & health issues to the staff

Requirements

Qualification and Education

• KM Level 4 / Diploma in Agriculture field or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Agriculture field.

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

• Experience in nursery management is an added advantage

Technical Knowledge / Skills

• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on farm equipment
• Posses B2 & D driving license
