Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Penang seeks a Failure Analysis specialist to perform comprehensive physical FA on memory, IoT, USB and microcontroller devices, delivering clear reports. You will collaborate with engineering teams to drive corrective actions and advance new analysis techniques, with ownership of selected tools and equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering/science field.
0–5 years in silicon failure analysis; fresh graduates welcome.
Knowledge of semiconductor physics is preferred.
Familiar with bench test setups and fault isolation tools.
Proficiency with FESEM, FIB; AI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform full physical failure analysis on Memory, IoT, USB and Microcontroller, and write failure analysis report.
Liaise with relevant engineering groups on analysis and corrective actions.
Spearhead development of new analysis techniques to meet technology and device challenges.
Take ownership of certain tools and equipment.
