Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and analyse technical failures from production rejects and field returns.
• Perform systematic root cause analysis using engineering methodologies.
• Conduct electrical testing and validation using diagnostic instruments.

In this role, you will investigate production failures, identify root causes, and drive engineering improvements to enhance manufacturing yield, product functionality, and long-term reliability.

This position offers excellent exposure to real-world engineering problem solving and is suitable for both experienced engineers and motivated fresh graduates eager to develop strong diagnostic expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and analyse technical failures from production rejects and field returns.

Perform systematic root cause analysis using engineering methodologies.

Conduct electrical testing and validation using diagnostic instruments.

Generate clear and structured failure analysis reports with corrective actions.

Drive yield improvement and reliability enhancement initiatives.

Work closely with Production, Quality, Process, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues.

Support continuous improvement activities to prevent recurring failures.

Monitor product performance trends and recommend engineering solutions

Core Skills (Required)

Basic electronic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and electronic diagrams.

Hands-on familiarity with laboratory and testing equipment:

Multimeter

Adjustable Power Supply

Electronic Load

Temperature Sensors Recorder

Logical and structured problem-solving approach

Added Advantage

Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Knowledge of DC-DC converters or power electronics systems

Exposure to manufacturing yield improvement or reliability testing

Understanding of root cause analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone, or similar)

Qualifications

Working experience in failure analysis or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
