ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer in Penang. You will analyze electronic components, develop and validate test methods, and work cross-functionally to resolve field failures and improve product reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience and hands-on skills in FMEA/DOE, PCB troubleshooting, and reliability engineering. A strong manufacturing background and problem-solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent education.
• FMEA/DOE and Reliability Engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in electronic circuits, PCBs, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 8D, lean manufacturing and problem-solving methods.
• 3–5 years related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, and evaluates electronic components or circuitry.
• Develops and maintains testing software; improves test coverage.
• Designs test fixtures to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Performs Failure Analysis, root cause and RCCA.
• Supports field/customer failures with findings and actions.
• Coordinates FA output and trains FA technicians.
