Job summary

Sikaag in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks an EHS Compliance and Safety Leader to champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with Sika policies, group EHS standards, local legal requirements, and emergency response procedures.

You will chair the ESH Committee, oversee safety audits, risk assessments, incident reporting and investigations, and coordinate training and corrective actions while communicating with SIMT/CIMT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) required.
• Minimum eight years of factory operations experience in a multinational company.
• Experience supervising equipment installation, facilities, maintenance and operations teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or Tamil an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS compliance and safety leadership across the site and liaise with SIMT/CIMT.
• Oversee production, material handling, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost performance.
• Manage asset, maintenance, and engineering activities with safe operations.
• Plan capital investments and coordinate IMS implementation and audits.
