Sikaag in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks an EHS Compliance and Safety Leader to champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with Sika policies, group EHS standards, local legal requirements, and emergency response procedures.
You will chair the ESH Committee, oversee safety audits, risk assessments, incident reporting and investigations, and coordinate training and corrective actions while communicating with SIMT/CIMT.

Chair the ESH Committee; oversee safety audits, risk assessments, training, incident reporting and investigation, corrective actions, emergency response activities, and communication with SIMT/CIMT. Monitor EHS performance and address hazards or non-compliance promptly.
Oversee production and material-handling operations to meet quality, volume, delivery, safety, and cost requirements. Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment, raw materials, and packaging materials, and establish and maintain standard operating procedures for all relevant activities.
Set and monitor key performance indicators to improve operational effectiveness, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement methods to reduce waste and strengthen factory performance.
Ensure factory assets, utilities, and equipment are installed, maintained, and operated safely and reliably with minimal downtime. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programmes in coordination with the National Maintenance Manager.
Plan and execute approved capital investment projects in line with operational needs, business growth, and strategic objectives.
Serve as the Quality Management Representative for the IMS, ensuring effective implementation and continual improvement of applicable procedures and standards. Support internal and external audits, certification activities, corrective actions, and compliance follow-up.
