Job summary

Celestica Inc. Malaysia seeks an EHS Safety & Health Officer to lead workplace safety, health, environmental, and energy management at our E&E and semiconductor equipment facility.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA 1994/Amendment 2022, FMA 1967, and RBA standards, coordinating with DOSH and DOE during site inspections and audits; preparing statutory reports and driving audits, training, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related science field.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid DOSH Green Book registration.
• CePSWaM competency certified by EiMAS / DOE Malaysia.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
• Formal RBA Lead Auditor or Awareness training is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute, audit, and maintain workplace safety, health, environmental, and energy management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 / Amendments 2022 and FMA 1967.
• Liaise with DOSH (JKKP) and DOE (JAS) during inspections and audits.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports (JKKP 5/6/7, CHRA) on time.
• Lead CePSWaM waste management and eSWIS logging.
• Drive ISO 14001/45001/50001 documentation, audits, and energy reduction programs.
