Job summary

GAOCE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced EHS Leader to establish and optimize the integrated EHS management system covering production safety, hazardous chemicals control, and environmental protection. You will manage licenses, liaise with authorities, and drive safety training to reduce on-site risks.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing EHS, familiar with local regulations, and certification in fire safety and safety management; Mandarin skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with local safety and environmental regulations.
• Capable of independently managing hazardous chemicals and occupational health systems.
• Local fire safety supervisor certificate and safety management personnel post certificate preferred.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of the integrated EHS management system for production safety, hazardous chemicals control, and environmental protection.
• Maintain relationships with local authorities and ensure licenses and registrations are compliant.
• Develop emergency plans and organize regular drills; coordinate safety, environmental protection and health training.
• Track changes in local EHS laws and adjust internal controls to mitigate operational risks.
